International House

For those who dont already know, International House, or IH in short, is the college im living in at the moment. I have been granted the greatest of priveledges to be a part of such a place. The atmosphere is just unbelievable. Living in a college filled with 270 students, all from different courses in University can be interesting and very helpful after all.

I remembered that wasnt what i felt at 1st. I wanted to stay out with my friend but my parents objected. I came to IH half heartedly. Wasnt happy at first, with my 1st impression of IH being the small tiny room that i had at GC02. One that was branded the dungeon by most seniors and one that more than half of IH didnt know existed.

Times change and i moved on...I now think of IH differently. I settled in and i have to admit...i thoroughly am enjoying it. Everyone is friendly, many activities throughout the year, plenty of people to study with, have fun with, club with, bum around with etc...

The college has helped me with my life and i guess...have helped me mature a bit more than i expected as i got to know many seniors and their experiences, not only from seniors but basicaly from everyone. It has helped me in many ways. Just to feel how some people study so hardcore makes me realise how behind i am in terms of maturity and desire to succeed. It didnt change me much i guess, as i still continue to be a slack ass and a college bum. However, i think it has helped and it will help me a lot as i face the future.
